Re: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you all, and best wishes for the coming year.

Off to friends for lunch, then it’ll be a quiet evening in front of the TV with the cheese board and a good port.

Temp in the sun, currently 44*.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I feel your pain. We paid ours last month, €248 for the year. Water is €7 a month, and rubbish collection is €8 a month. All in, just over €400 a year

Re: Electric Vehicles

Re: Immigration

I am an immigrant here in Spain, and have been since before Brexit. To gain Residencia I had to prove income. And even though there is a Spanish Health system we didn’t/don’t qualify, and as part of...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

My lovely HP i7 laptop failed its bounce test. As I rarely watch TV this was a dire result. Repair time, whether I do it or use the local shop is at least 2 weeks, more so getting stuff through...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

This has been going on since forever. At least a third of the population has MRSA. Not too much of a problem for healthy people but a potential killer in someone who is sick or old and infirm.

The...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Bib, the ONS Gov website shows excess deaths, and by cause. By week and by month/year. All the data is out there. You can search by flu deaths if you wish. And no, they are not being kept quiet....

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

And shock of shocks, its the Tories that have taken NHS Supply Chain back in-house from being majority DHL owned.

Whether the cynic in me sees it as an opportunity to now sell it to a mate is a...

Re: The All New Megathread
