Also a useful skill to learn when you drop it and break off the peg.

Other options being riding it everywhere in first. It redlines at well over 50mph :cool:

Might well be more to do with the compression applied from whatever source you use. Visible banding in dark scenes is unlikely to get improved with a better or newer TV.

Obviously TVs in shops use...

Heaters are all considered 100% efficient, near as makes no difference. Fan heaters have a fan to drive, but it's a tiny proportion of the power used.
