Don't think that will work as the Gizmo is only live when the ignition is switched on.

So connect the charging lead direct to the battery, that's what I've done, although I'm lucky, I've got a...

Can't fault it, it hooked up to the spare terminals on my motobatt, and I've got the Optimate lead & the wiring for my horn...

Muchos gracias for that Bib, I knew about the battery terminals, but not the brake light connector, I would have been looking around for ages!
