Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Perennial problem, bally insurance companies!! Car insurance renewal time (2 cars on a multi-car) was 678. A few searches later and I have a quote for 482.... I then ring Admiral about my renewal...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Yet mine go the other way.... My rear pads wear much faster than they used to on my previous bikes. It's due to the linked brakes on VFR, rears come on when using the front.... Still only needed...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Contented doggy snores coming up the stairs. They would rather be up here in the office with me, but Jemima's lack of a cruciate ligament means stairs are to be avoided. So they are happily snoozing...

Re: OMO - Building Regs Knowledge?

I hadn't found that in my searches. The diagram is useful. I'm happy now that it is only the pane within 300mm of the door that needs replacing, not both panes.

OMO - Building Regs Knowledge?

I'm making a concerted effort to get building regs approvals completed for my extension. I think everything is boxed off EXCEPT for some glass windows.

So I re-used the windows we took out of the...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

I have TP-link kit, had it for years. Works, simples. As your tests show Bibs, they will re-connect and self configure in almost all scenarios (had to use pair button one time in past 10+ years)....

Re: car buying conundrum

I would make them a counter offer of what you are prepared to pay. When the car is handed back they just get an auction company to come and pick it up, check for damage (fair wear and tear policy)...

Re: Ponderosa closed

Re: Euthanasia, should we ?

Re: Russian TU-22M3 bomber crash last week

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

New 4x4 returned home after warranty work on the transmission, just as the snow disappears. Just made me laugh at the irony of the situation.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Got a 4x4 car earlier this year as I missed the x-Trail's ability in the snow. Four days before the snow arrives it develops a fault with the 4x4 system and is in the garage!

On the upside the...
