Re: Petrol shortage

The only people left who think our problems aren't Brexit are the Brexiters. There are less than 52% of them in the world though.

Re: Vintage film cameras

Spend a good couple of hours with a pencil, spirit level and ruler but after about 3 years finally put a set of frames up on the wall to put some pictures in. The lighting in our living room is a bit...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Re: Counter Leaning

Still can't view the vid. I presumed from the title it wasn't countersteering hence my spiel. Yes, countersteering is a must. I sat in a room full of riders at Superbike School level 1 and when asked...

Re: Counter Leaning

Can't view the vid but if you mean leaning the bike under you towards the inside of the bend, you do it to increase the tightness of the turn, typically when manoeuvring. You do it in MX as well for...

Re: The dreaded E10 fuel scenario!

High percentages of ethanol can be used but as said, producing it takes some doing. The carbon balance when it's from corn starch is poor but from sugar cane is good - US use corn, Brazil use cane...

Re: Vintage film cameras

I've contacted her twice and she makes all the right noises then goes quiet. I'll probably do it one last time and offer to turn it into money in the run up to Christmas. I've got a fair list of...

Re: Vintage film cameras

To be honest I think it was a bit of an impulse, don't worry about it. I still have the SP500 a woman asked me to look at, that was before covid, I could always use it at some point I guess.

Re: Vintage film cameras

I fancy an ESII although I hear the electronics are a bit iffy. What lens do you think it has? f1.8/f2 50mm?

Re: Vintage film cameras

I've used it a couple of times, 125ISO but a lot of latitude and very fine grain, it's hard to get wrong (says he). I wanted to try Ektar but anything colour 120 is stupidly expensive, when did that...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Nice pics, I like the perspective of the last one. Got a bit of a deal on some 120 film, ebay seller with rolls of Ilford FP4, expires 2023, 4 plus 4.50 postage (!) but got them for 10 for 3 so a...

Re: What's this?

You normally see that sort of thing where someone's put on rearsets and not thought it through. As Dave says though, probably for the look - you have stock pegs. Or maybe if they've done something...

Re: Curvy clutch cover prep
