Re: Exhaust popping shifting down

I can’t get the air box off as the clamp holding the top throttle body tube doesn’t have a screw accessible from the left or right. Can’t see a way of getting to it. Changed my spark plugs and...

Re: Exhaust popping shifting down

I had the garage do the riser kit so I don’t know unfortunately. Was 90 quid and saved me the hassle, wish I’d done it myself now as one of my heated grips doesn’t work and I’ve no steering lock

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Does it work plugged in? Might just be the battery. You can pick them up for £20 - £25. If it's the battery it generally doesn't work plugged in. You can test it by plugging it in with no battery in...

Re: Riser kit installed

I’m not finding the seat an issue at the moment Bibio so hopefully will be ok on longer rides. Janeflakes I have already done the suspension, calipers, discs and had fairings on and painted. No more...

Quick update, just ran out of fuel 20 miles earlier than usual and got rescued by my dad. Remember to look down or you won’t see the light come on anymore :)

Talking Riser kit installed

Just got the riser kit i bought off Bibio installed and it’s amazing. Anyone thinking of doing it should do it. Hands down the best thing I’ve done to the bike. Will probably sell my clip ons, yoke...

Re: lever guard suggestions

I'm leaning towards a proper lever guard over hand guards, just for peace of mind really. Can't think of anything worse than being turned away over it, even if i have email as proof.

Re: lever guard suggestions

They just replied and said said "Hi Damian, hand guards are fine. Thanks". They didn't mention materials they are made of. Seems as long as there is something there its ok

Re: lever guard suggestions

I'm still looking. I don't think i'd get away with hand guards RiffRaff. Although they would serve the same purpose. I have just emailed them to ask if standard hand guards are sufficient or if i...

Re: lever guard suggestions

I saw on a youtube search for bar end weights that someone used oem weights on renthal bars using 10mm rawl plugs from b and q. Think it was Delboys Garage. They might work if you can match up the...

lever guard suggestions

Does anyone have any recommendations for lever guards on Renthal low bars? You need them now on track days. I don't want to spend much money as they will only get used once or twice a year, if ever...

Re: Bib's SV Bike bits bonanza

The indicator has come off the bracket. There’s a little bush it located in which is short, was tempted to gorilla glue it back in as I think the rubber has expanded a bit. But for the price of new...

Re: 2021 track days?

The brake guards are cheap and easy to install, the one I’ve seen goes in like a bar end weight. MSV make you have them, which is a lot of the tracks, not sure about no limits

Re: 2021 track days?

I was hoping to do a training day there but it’s 492 quid. Bit steep for me this year but maybe when I’ve a couple of track days under my belt I’ll give it a go, just for the confidence factor...
