it's getting an electrician to install or fix them that is the problem,unless I just make a claim on my british gas cover for electrical if they still sound when I reconnect the landing detector.

Another bit of a gripe. If my rear shock absorber replacement is fixed under warranty almost as soon as the part is expected to arrive at the dealer next week , my bike will have been off the road...

See my post today on hugger. That was my argument, that if an item fails /cracks due to a design fault ( not enough clearance between hugger and part of original bike in my hugger case) it is not fit...

My fixed eon contract is £1013 for gas and elect now. eon fixed v13 quoted as £2580 for next year which is 155% increase. Trying to go for for eon next flex direct debit estimated at £1877 for year...

In that case can't you get an alternative quotation? I am with a broker and find that when renewal is due, if the company I was with raises the premium too much the broker gets a cheaper quotation...
