Too dangerous to venture in here! People come in looking to sell stuff and end up with a collecting condition!

Re: Vintage film cameras

No one interested in the Program A? Don't want anything for it, only bought the lot for the MX.

Re: Vintage film cameras

Managed to score an untested MX. If it's unservicable I'll transfer over the focus screen and top plate.

Re: Vintage film cameras

Yeah, very similar to the OM1 screens. I did offer up an OM one but it's just a tad too big.

Re: Vintage film cameras

To be honest GAS isn't too bad at the moment, I've got so many to shoot with it seems pointless to keep adding to the queue. That's not to say that if a really good deal came up I'd say no, but it's...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Pretty decent results from the G1. I was a bit hesitant to get a proper lens for it as I already have a few digitals, but DSLR like quality in a small light package isn't so bad.

Re: Vintage film cameras

What was the item number on the RF Johnny? If you win the ME Super, I have a couple of spare baseplates and battery covers if you need. The Mongolia guy said they may visit Turkey and Iran too, would...

Re: The all new slap bang up to date photo of the day 2019!

Popped over to Aldeburgh this afternoon on the SV. Not the nicest day for a ride, but its still a ride. Thought I would test out the new lens for my Panasonic G1. Both shots have film effect filters....

Re: Vintage film cameras

Thanks for the heads up but as to quote a common phrase of mine "I have one of those but haven't shot with it yet" just got back in from a ride to the coast. Was ok, bit chilly but my bike is now...

Re: The all new slap bang up to date photo of the day 2019!

Had a great day out with my wife. Went to the cinema, had a late lunch then dropped some coppers in the arcades. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190209/fc3e4a1cf361ee668f91beafee4a1649.jpg

Re: Vintage film cameras

No, Kiev 4. Didn't get round to using it today. I did win a new camera though, its compact and slips easily into my pocket.

Re: Vintage film cameras

Re: Vintage film cameras

Someone just remind me about filters. If I have a +1 filter fitted does it mean I need one more stop of light? Say meter reads f5.6 at 1/125, does that mean I step to f4 1/125 or f5.6 at 1/60? Or...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Hmm, got no advice to offer on that one. Plusgas maybe? I've been tinkering with the Lynx 5000 that I bought to fix the first one. I have the shutter open and the release is just catching and...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Johnny is the chemist around here so I'm sure he'll have a potion recommendation for you. I got the Panasonic lens, as mentioned it was cheap and the apparent dust has no impact on the image. Got...
