Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Very good Mr Rules. The Monkey is 21 now, graduated this year and got a full time job earlier in the summer. I was chuffed to bits a few months ago when she told me I could stop the monthly...

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

Photography too. I catch myself looking at which model of Canon or Nikon is hanging round someone's neck but then I'm not that fussed about having the best of everything as long as I'm enjoying it....

Re: What have you tinkered with today?

I'm really not sure which side the switch is on I'm afraid as I don't have a wiring diagram to check. The tip came from a Trumpet forum and I too was sceptical but sure enough when I used the...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

It's a tricky subject and too much coming from a colleague could be taken as bullying or discrimination. As long as they actually do something it is usually safer to let HR deal with it so I don't...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Good advice here. My dad was found to have an elevated PSA on his first test at about 60, which lead to the dreaded diagnosis, radiotherapy, operations, medication... If it had been found earlier...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

None of us had the heart to tell a colleague about his terrible halitosis about ten years ago. We all cringed somewhat at the Chrimbo meal when he sat down first and none of us sat next to him,...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

The local Lido has quietly changed its opening hours. Lady Poppy and I cycled down there this afternoon for a swim (it's about two miles away) only to find they're now closed between 2 and 5:30. ...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Good luck Tim. Things are a lot better these days and my dentist treats me like a customer instead of a patient, although that is probably an attempt to delve further into my wallet...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

This is something I was wondering as I have a business phone number and bank account and TSB threatened to go with electronic signatures via an app to log in. I don't want to use my personal number...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
