Hmm, looks like this might be a good option. Could pose a bit of a need for an explanation if I wind up in hospital though.
My brother is a competative triathlon runner (well, cyclist) so I'll grill him on what he reckons is a good one.

Jambo: I find shifting about helps prevent cramp in my legs, but regardless of whether I move fully forward, or fully back (or even stand up, trailie style for short spells) it doesn't seem to make things easier on my backside.

Ta for the suggestions folks. I'll bear them all in mind. Any others?

Just to confirm- adding height to the seat is no problem. Even an extra 2" wouldn't cause me problems getting my feet down and I like the improved view.
