Hmm, can't say I've noticed this. Sure top end silly speeds are reduced but I've still had over 120 on a regular occurance (in suitable circumstances of course). 70 is like idling along and not much resistance to wind at all. (on my hornet which has no screen either). Maybe you are higher up on the SV? Ah who knows!
