Many years ago I used to work in Sainsbury's. One day, while stacking the bananas on the shelf, I overheard the following delightful conversational snippet:
Old Dear #1: How's your James doing?
Old Dear #2: Oh, he's very well. He's just got a new job.
Old Dear #1: Really? What's he doing?
Old Dear #2: He's working for an Undertaker.
--pause--
Old Dear #1: Well, I'm sure he gets to meet a lot of interesting people......
I had to go and hide in the stor-room until I stopped laughing.
