The snake thing I just can't explain, even if I know they are harmless. It makes me wonder if its some sixth sense of a previous life, or previous death!
I understand completely about the hesitation with snakes, especially after last night. Generally there's only one way to conquer a fear/phobia, and that's to SLOWLY challenge it. Of course, some times it's just not possible though.

BTW, my mate asked me to help him out with his rattler, as it hadn't shed properly the last few times & him & his misses was getting a little worried for the things health (they can get diseases if eye-caps don't come off properly etc). So in response to me trying to make sure his snake was healthy (careful now!) etc, namely by pulling it's dead skin off, it decided it didn't like it anymore, and the thing bit me. My own fault really as I was being a bit rough with it, and it's not used to being handled much, let alone by me.

So off I trotted to A&E, and tried to explain that they needed to get some pretty specific anti-venom, and how to use it (not many folks in N Wales have seen a venomous snake), whilst I had lockjaw (amongst other things).

So yes, around THAT snake, I'll be a little more careful in future.

The pre-menstrual thing, I'm not scared, I just make myself scarce
