Kwak, it's a litre twin... They demand respect. I had a Falco after my SV and although I only kept it for 6 months or so, it was all through winter, and I learned how to ride properly. Big twins bite back if you don't ride them properly.
I think you, as I did, will have to go back to school and start from scratch, learning what you can and can't do with your bike. The first weekend I had the Falco it was on the back wheel more times than I care to remember
Take it easy, re-educate yourself (then get a litre IL4 and have the best of both worlds
