Dunno about puppies, but the old fella (14 yo Retriever) has started raiding the bin. Tries putting in mustard / curry powder / chillies on stuff and on the rim of the bin, bring it on, he laps it up! Tried sneaking down at night to catch him, but he always manages to be with the 'puppy' (his 9yo son) so cannot give him 100% blame - so he gets away with it. He has arthritis in his shoulder and limps badly but still manages to wriggle inside big swingtop bin for titbits without knocking it over or making a noise. He is a ninja bin raider, I decided!

Caught him red handed the other night at about 2 am. I could not sleep and heard the lid slid back. Found him in the boot room, surrounded by treasure and on his own, looking well sheepish. Got a slap and telling off, no raiding since.........
