since my crash at the weekend my bike's been behaving rather oddly

I got it off the trailer tonight & put it on stands to assess the damage. I hadn't been able to get it to fire up since, but after some wiggling of the sidestand it came back to life. also, I can't get it to register neutral on the dash

anyway, it fired up okay, but even with the clutch held in, the rear wheel was rotating strongly - stopping the wheel with a booted foot stalled the engine

any ideas? bearing in mind that the bike went down pretty hard on its left side & ripped off the lhs rearset & gearshift linkage, is there anything that might be bent causing this?
