Speed wobbles?!?

Not sure if it was but that is what it felt like.

Normally I ride around the 70-80mph mark on the motorways (this takes care of the Speedo being 5mph out) but the other day on a quite stretch of private road I though I would ‘give it’ some just to try out the wind blast at 110-120mph.

This was in a straight line and the front end felt ‘lose’ and I was getting minor wobbles, by minor I mean really really small, like aquaplaning ever so slightly.

It was a windy day and was wondering if that was the cause or weather the steering goes ‘light’ at speed?
