Re: Sat nav?
For general day-to-day driving/riding, no - you don't ever NEED one...
However my Sat. Nav. in my car has managed to take me to a farmers track where a friend lived, to several cities around the country, helped me find roughly 7 different routes between Leicester and Bolton (a journey I do often and now don't get bored as I take a different route each time) and also got me to Amsterdam and back!
Now I could've just map read to do all that - but it allows you to:
- Enjoy the drive without worrying too much about where you're going.
- Allows you do be more aware of what's infront of you as you're not faffing around with maps.
- Get into the car with only a postcode, street name and house number and arrive within 25 yards of the house!
