Great for planning ride outs. I do a fair bit of traveling, I tend to try a different rideout every time i go out. It makes it more enjoyable to not have to pull over, and watch constantly for signs. I echo the comments about city riding too - absolute godsend. I just wish i could afford one rather than follow mates with them! I still sit at home mulling over maps the night before - it doesn't remove any of the fun!
