Re: Bloody ebay sellers
I am currently undergoing a similar thing. Even more inconvenient, as it's a PA system and if it doesn't arrive in time a gig may well have to be pulled, so there are financial implications, as well as the cost of the rig itself. £10 charge if you want to pay via payal too, which I didn't think sellers were allowed to do anymore.
Also, after I've ordered I'm told there may be a delay in shipping as they are moving warehouses. It also appears they have changed the listing to reflect this, after I bought it to make it look like I knew all along! The 'text' concerned is actually a .jpg which is hosted on their own site (and hence they can change it). Now, I'm not sure, but I imagine that usually ebay freeze a listing once it's sold. I suspect what they've done here is change the .jpg to this new text (which definately wasn't there before as me and the friend I am going halves with both double checked the listing before ordering) on their site, but from ebay's POV, the listing is unchanged as the image still links to the same place.
To top it all off there's the usual "phone number that doesn't actually work". You'd hope with 98.5%+ positive feedback they'd be okay, but it seems not to be the case.
