I have since found out the bike has a BMC filter, Dynojet stage 3 and Micron serpent hydroflow system.....as a result the throttle is incredibly responsive....much more twitchy than the 500 I passed my direct access on.
I would like to de-sensitise the throttle a little to give me some margin for error.....Could i remove the air filter for a stock one without having to get it dyno'd....
Any advice much appreciated

As those mods are performance enhancing you should either revert to stock or inform your broker ASAP as you will soon find your insurance is invalid!
