I like the road from the roundabout at the Shard Bridge through Out Rawcliffe (Rawcliffe Road) to St Michaels. At the t juction tun right then first left and follow the road past Myscough to the A6 at Owd Nells.

Left and right at the Roebuck (Billsborrow lane) for about a mile and left at the white metal fencing (Lydiate Lane) and keep going all the way up to Oakenclough. Turn left at the fire engine (In front of Oakenclough mill) over the moor and keep going until you get to the Trough Road. Turn left and drop down to the A6 at Galgate. From there over towards Glasson and then Cockerham, and back to shard via Pilling Hambleton etc.

Some good roads, lots of twisities and with the exception of the crawl back from Knott end -> Hambleton reasonably quite with the opertunnity to realy blast in parts.
