To be honest, we couldn't comment anyway, Mike, as we always ride two-up, so have no comparison with solo mileage.

We have noticed a huge difference in wear depending on tyres though. We used to get around 4,500 from BT010's, but only 1,400 from BT014's. Diablo's, around 3,500. We've clocked up just over 4,000 on our PR2's, and the rear still seems to have a fair bit left in it. We don't give our tyres an easy life either
