He's had loads of niggly electrical problems. Mainly poor starting and eating the battery which he solved by fitting a higher capacity amp battery.

It eats front brake disc's and they warp really easily. Its pretty common to see alot of 2nd hand brake discs for a Millie on ebay most of which are sold as straight, but are actually warped, he's got caught twice like this, so be careful if you are buying 2nd hand parts.

Its also apparently for older Millie's to suffer low oil pressure at idle. Again solved now after fitting new oil pump internals and also he's been told by a man who worked on Millies for a while to run it on thicker oil.

Also watch the stickers they suffer really badly with being cracked / faded by the sun so.

All the trouble has made him fall out of love of biking and he's bought another bike now as he was fed up with and the Millie is going.

If it were me. I'd buy a later shape one with the air in take in the middle as most of the niggles were sorted by the time they got to making that model.
