Default Re: Someone walked out infront of me...

I feel your pain, same thing happened to me twice, once outside London Bridge, the other near rotherhite tunnel.

If anything its a good job you never bothered exchanging. It would come down to be your fault and they could claim from you.

As the law states, its your responsibility to stop (trust me, i totally understand your frustration!!!) and if the pedestrian is injured, someone has to blame, and its always whoever hits them. Even if it is completly the pedestrians fault.

Joke isn't it. Hey you walk straight out in front of my why don't you. I mean, its not like my 190kg bike doing 20mph won't injure you at all, your a superhuman..... So please do just walk straight out in front of me whilst that crossing is a massive 20m away from you

I take great care between Moorgate all the way past Tower BRidge (down tooley street) as people just are in "muppet" mode... Ipods in, but a rev of the engine and a loud parp of the horn and a loud shout so everyone heres what an idiot that pedestrian is, always does the trick. Either that, or carry on till you just nudge them till they jump Its getting worse in London, just be glad you dont have to use the A2 with its nose to tail tailbacks from sun in the sands all the way past my junction, down to the A2/M2 split!!!!
