I can kinda see where you are coming from - but then I s'pose you could also say
"it's art innit" so the interpretation is in the hands of the 'artist'.
As Luckypants pointed out - perhaps photos of domesticated animals or those in a zoo shouldn't be considered, stirctly speaking, 'Wildlife', even though without them you could go through life without ever seeing some of the most fantastic creatures this world has to offer.
I just thought to construct something with a little bit of an alternative twist on the theme, and little Grizzler was made to look like a real bear unlike your average classic teddy bear...
... took ages to pose him even remotely naturally though - little bugger kept falling off the log.

I do wonder though, over the years, what manner of creepy crawlies have called it home and nibbled it down to it's current state. I keep a few bits of rotten wood at the bottom of the garden for bugs to thrive in - good for the birds see - but strangely nothing ever chooses to live on or under thatstump now. I wonder whether it's actually have all it's 'food' value exploited - a shell of a stump so to speak.
