A friend of mine has offered to oversee my work and advise, he has been doing his own bikes for years, so I feel safer having a go now, plus he has every conceivable tool possible.

On another note, I called EC Bate (Dartford) to get a quote for the parts they quoted me EBC disc "as it is much cheaper than Suzuki" it was £97.52, so assuming they were doing me a favour I didn't ask about the Suzuki part.

My friend called Aye Gees, who I don't think much of, and got prices from them. A proper Suzuki read disc is £70 (all-in). WTF? That is the last time I go anywhere near ECBate!!!!

So the disc and pads are on order and I will hopefully be fitting sometime in the coming week. Thanks all for the advice.
