Default Re: Are curvy headers different to pointy?

If it is just noise you are after then a slip on is the way to go, there are no power gains just the lovely V-twin rumble! Must slip on cans come with a reconnecting sleeve so you will have no problems when returning to OEM specification. If not then you can buy then individually from Fuel exhausts.

As for a full system, well not all need rejetting but a good system will! The Pointy and Curvy headers are different, not only the front header but also where the two headers connect as the layout under the Curvy is different to the Pointy. If you are going down the full system set up then you will need the model specific system. If you are only looking for noise then any of the system will do, but a slip on will give you the same results at a cheaper price.
