For people like me who didn't have a clue where place A was from place B this could have easily been the fuel stop where the group wasn't going to wait.
IIRC the fuel stop was at
about 100 miles. When we pulled into that station I had not got a clue how many miles we had covered. What I did know was fuel was starting to get a bit low in my tank. When I saw you in the petrol station I thought great, this is the fuel stop.
