Thanks guys, i'll get on to the insurer and also try to get hold of the scrappy (if the insurer will tell me who it is), see if i can get a price and a list of the damage and post it here for opinions.
Then as DD infered, the question becomes whether to do a cheap commuter rebuild and buy something quicker (with compensation) or take the opportunity to do something fun?
Will i become eligible for storage costs if i buy it? Remember hearing that somewhere.
