What size of discs, and what calipers, are you using? I found that HH on 320mm discs can be a bit unsubtle and abrupt... I used 2 different 320mm disc setups (GSXR thou K6 radials, and GSXR750 K2 axials) and found that with HH they were just a bit much- great on track, but on a slithery winter commute they needed more care than I liked.

So I fitted Carbon Lorraine A3+ pads, which I loved- they're nothing like as powerful as an HH but frankly, it's irrelevant, they still have more than enough power for the street or intermediate trackdays. They were a bit fadey on track though. But on the road, very nice, they have much less initial bite and a very linear grip so you can have just a feather touch on the brakes, or still pile it on fast if you want. Modulating the brakes was much easier, it really flattered my abilities.
