not if I'm doing 30. Like the Gr33k, I stick to speed limits in towns and villages and find those who speed past me in those limits irritating to say the least. For instance last sunday after the rafting I (we - was two up) caught this guy in a VFR easily but did not overtake as there was no safe opportunity. come to a village with 30 limit, I slow down but he keeps going at his 'standard 55 mph everywhere' - what a cnut! After we cleared the 30 limit we caught him in about 3 minutes and dispensed with him.
Shows a complete lack of thought about your riding and awareness of your bikes ability to cover ground, that there is no point in speeding through towns and villages.
EDIT re-read that and the last comment is not directed at you Ed, or anyone in particular (except maybe the VFR rider).
