Default Re: Fiat Brava 1.6

Fiat Brava / Bravo are a good car. both my kids have had one (1.4 SX and a diesel) The 1.4 has survived both my kids, provided 4 years of reliable motoring as a kayak vehicle despite Lowri doing her best to kill it. Purple Ronnie (as he is known) was sold on to another paddler / student who trashed it for 6 months before selling as a run around to a pensioner. It's still going with 150K on it. The diesel was suberb until some ******* ran into the back of it and wrote it off. (60+mpg)

The Brava has a remarkably smooth ride, decent brakes and is cheap to run.

Only niggles we had was with the nearside rear light cluster, where water can get in and cause some shorting. This is a known problem, apparently some gutter / drain hole blocks up with carp. Solved with silicon sealer.

Get windscreen cover on the insurance to, they can be bally expensive from AutoGlass etc, but local firm sorted one for £85 fitted.
