the levels work based on how much prize money you win... everytime you win a sum of prize money, a progress bar pops up showing you how much money you need to get to the next level. As your level increases, you can participate in events where the prize money is bigger, and you also unlock some of the more exotic cars only thing is, as you get on to the bigger money events, the threshold to the next level increases to the point where you have to win like 300,000 to get upto the next level. Think I'm on about 37 at the moment and all the events are completed upto the level 40 events = gonna have to redo some events where the damage took all my prize money away = i am a sad sad geek and I love it.
