depends on the bike, but in general i find a SM is more confidence inspiring with less weight in general but especially on the front wheel, the KTM can be a handful if it's slippery, i've had the back wheel spin up while the front is in the air and the throttle response isn't conducive to mid corner fettling, sticking your boot out can save you from going over or it might, as was the case of one of the KTM boys who joined the flids in spain, break your ankle even with proper MX boots + sliders, so take your chances
still wouldn't fancy my chances on a wet cold track this time of year though, no fun to be had...
