From under the seat?
In that case, take the rider seat off, and look behind the battery. There's a clear plastic cover on a part there (the starter relay).
Put your hand on that whilst someone else hits the starter for you (you don't have 3 hands
). Do you feel this knock at the same time as the noise happens?
If you do, it has a fuse under the cover, check that hasn't popped.
