I have Altberg boots. They have a sole like walking boots and are a bit higher than 'normal' sportier bike boots which have a thinner sole. It makes a bit of difference maybe 20mm. Every little helps. And you get good grip as well! I always miss my boots when I go and clean the bike or something with my normal trainers on, sit on it to paddle it backwards and think god this bike has grown but instead I miss my boots. They are a lot cheaper than Daytonas and I like mine
