I live in Glasgow and bought my bike from North Harbour Suzuki in Ayrshire. Do I need to take it there or can I take it to MOM or somewhere else in Glasgow?

BTW am still in the running in process and occasionaly i've rev'd to 7k rpm. I know the book says 5500rpm but would the extra 1500rpm do much harm. Its only been short blasts and the bike was up to temperature (76 i think) before i hit the 7k mark and had previously done 150 miles.
Did you buy your bike 'brand new'? If so, don't you have to return to the original dealer to keep the two year warranty??

Modern engines are pretty bullet proof and there is a train of thought that recommends varying the revs, because the engine will perform better in the long run. I have heard "Do it by the book and the engine will last longer, give it welly from the start (and I'm not suggesting that is what you are doing!), it will make more power!"

Good luck.
