Goddamn this bally shock! I need to remove the entire exhaust system to get the shock out and in again. Which means taking the rear end apart.... and the Staintune that caused me so much aggro getting in......

I thought I could sneak the shock out with the exhaust in situ but collector / cat box is just too big to get the damn thing out! Luckily I decided this before butchering the hydraulic pre-load thing, which had been my plan to avoid removing all the rear bodywork / undertray etc, so I can still get my MOT tomorrow.

If the Honda dealer gets me the gaskets needed for the exhaust early enough tomorrow, I'll have a bash at getting it sorted.
