If I switch the ignition off then back on again, 4 times out of 5 the FI warning light is no longer on and he starts fine.
Anyone got any idea's what my cause it (I'm a techie noob, but even I know its a problem with the fuel injection, before any one says anything!!!!)
Oh, if it helps, he's in Candy Blue

Had same problem - the advice i got was to clean the ignition switch contacts and disassemble and clean the kill switch.
However after flicking the kill switch on and off a few times I haven't had the problem again.
In my case, either turning the ignition off then on again or flicking the kill switch off then on again, would cure the flashing FI light and the fuel pump motor would once again whirr.
