YST have been making cheap sealed units for push bikes for the twenty years that I have been working in bike shops. It will work and it will last a while. It will keep going in a shell with a stripped thread and it will do the job. I would just fit it and forget about it until it needs replacing again in about five years.
In the mean time, build yourself a proper bike with lots of carbon, titanium and aluminium, you wont regret it and they ride really nicely. Got a nice Time trial bike where I work, a real steal for £1000!
