might be worth removing the clutch cover and having a good look at the springs/plates. You'll need a new gasket handy for refitting though. If you tilt the bike to the left on its sidestand you should be able to do it without dropping the oil.

Might be worn plates, tired springs or even a loose spring fastener. Assuming its the clutch at fault.
