They're goretex in places, yup. Tried a bit of bicarbonate of soda overnight, that tends to keep the stench down for a few weeks. Not found/seen odoureater powder - search is on.

I really should have gone to Sunday school more.

So ... anyone been brave enough to machine wash these beasts without requiring either new boots and/or a new machine? I like washing things that you can just dry without ironing, like pants and socks. Not shirts, mind, they're hard.
