Just renewed my insurance for my SV .

Fully Comprehensive cost me around 650 quid. 3 years no claims. Im 20

What disheartens me is how un-reassuring I feel with fully comp

basically I feel there is so many terms and conditions that I get the impression the chances of them actually coughing up with the money if anything was to happen is very slim.

One example would be her asking me if it is kept in a garage. I said yes, then when I had decided to take the insurance out at the end she mentioned checking the booklet about garages as if to say its got to be a special type of garage or we won’t pay up!

And the mileage I will be doing, and where I will be riding, what type of riding (ie commuting)

Then they ask if you want legal cover, breakdown, blah blah blah for extra money!

Thought fully comp was going make me sleep easy!!!!!! , I feel that if I am not starting in a brick garage with a blue door then riding… not going too far…. in the right direction… with the correct chain under my seat….. with a pillion…riding leisurely…… and my bike isn’t modified then I might aswell be THIRD DAMM PARTY!
