Not worth wasting £60 of your hard earned cash on is it??
Once they pull you for that, they'll look over the rest of your bike with a fine tooth comb. Oh look sir, that's a race can - that's another £30 fine on top of the £60 for the plate. Keep it legit, you don't get pulled... or buy a harley, and you can run any plate size you wish... those things and touring bikes never get pulled over for a check - only the sports bikes...

My commuter bike exhaust wakes the dead (handy for filtering), but I run a legit plate on it, and have passed several cop cars stuck in the traffic gridlock whilst filtering. Never been stopped..
