Yes, I agree. As long as you can seperate the linkage from the bottom of the shock, although IIRC you should be able to undo the ride height adjuster, which will be easier than the linkage bolt. Just unwind the rings and see if the spring falls free and lets the bottom mount slide off. May need a bit of persuading if it's been in place for some time.
