I love the 1250 Bandit, every now and again my local deal lend me one as a courtesy bike.

Big Comfy seat, decent screen on the faired one, riding position is comfortable. Engine is silky smooth and pulls and pulls like a train in every gear. Brakes were good to. Not as nimble as my GSXR or an SV, but then its a different style of bike so to make that comparision is a little unfair. It does tend to take a bit of muscle / bodyweight to steer and I pushing on hard exposed the chassis a little and it felt to me a bit like it had a big hinge in the middle of it.

If I wanted a bike for a long distance commute / long touring trips that kinda riding I'd be serioulsy considering a 1250GT Bandit.
