thanks all for the response to this thread it has been interesting to read different points of view on this subject: anyway i went to the shop to look at and try on leathers for size and got great help and explanation on how and why they should fit,and i ended up walking out £400 lighter and the proud owner of a 1 piece moto gp kangaroo leather suit which is a lot lighter than the standard leather hide that is used.
also someone mentioned that wearing leathers can make you feel more confident, this i found to be true probably because my mind was more relaxed knowing that i was now more protected than i ever have been!!!
