Could you describe the noise a bit more? Is it a vibration, a knocking, a rumbling, a ticking?

Can you identify the exact area?

Check your oil level and top up as required (do this with the bike level, not on the sidestand...I'm sure you know this but you'd be suprised how many don't!)

If your bike hasn't had an oil change in the last year or in the last 5000 miles, then change the oil and oil filter (10w 40 semi synthetic motorcycle oil, or fully synth motorcycle oil of the same grade)
