Got rudley awoke by the missus...
His car door won't shut. and the pad lock on the gate is frozen We're going to be late for school.

I get out of bed, get dressed, hand keys over to my car over to my missus.

"take my car" i said.

"It's frozen over." she replys.

"Deeeeeeerrr.. it still a car which is not locked in."

I go and get kettle with COLD water in... and pour it over my windscreen. and put the wipers on..


She leaves... With kids.

I get the blow torch from garage and carfully heat up the pad lock...
then gently apply some heat to her car door lock that will not shut...
4 mins later all is well.
Calm down dear, it's only a lack of temprature.... Springs to mind.

also told her if it's the same tomorrow, simply open the car and start the engine and let the car warm up, then lock the car with my keys.
(It's not against the law to leave your car running..if the car is sitting on your own property and is locked in by gates, before you all start to state otherwise)
